About

Ready to reduce stress, increase peace, lead with feminine energy,       and be prosperous?  Then, join me on this fabulous, enlightening journey of joy and transformation.

Hi, I am Karen McMillan, creator of YINpreneur Coaching and Retreats?  I am an internationally certified coach, mom, amateur photographer, radio show host, community volunteer, and life-long spiritual seeker.  I am passionate about blending ancient wisdom with modern practice to maximize human potential.

I partner with savvy professional women who want more clarity, balance and passion in their lives; experienced entrepreneurs who seek a new, more feminine, fun and balanced way of being and succeeding in life and business; and small biz owners and non-profit organizations seeking unique, transformational leadership training.

I love to connect with clients who are ready to let go of living small, find their voice and live life on their terms.  Women who wish to live and work with ease, confidence, passion, peace and abundance for all.

As an experienced coach and leader, I have the honor and pleasure of coaching clients, live and virtually, across the U.S., Canada and as far away as India and Australia.  I work from a place of intuitive knowing, balancing yin and yang energy and integrating learned skills with spiritual practice to access your mind, body, and spirit wisdom.

I offer private and small group life and business coaching, teleclasses for large groups, facilitation for leadership training and annual retreats, e-Courses, and self-study products to guide and inspire you to co-create your life and business of passion, prosperity, and balance.

Sound awesome and resonate with you?  If so, I’d love to guide you on this journey to create more joy, passion, creativity, authenticity, prosperity, self-love and happiness in your life!

A bit more about me  …

I am a grateful mom of a really creative teen, sister to two fabulous women, and daughter of parents who model life-long learning and living with purpose.

My heritage is multicultural, and I come from a long line of independent entrepreneurs. One great-grandfather imported jewelry from his native India to Grenada, and  the other sailed from Ireland to the Grenada to own and farm land.  My grandfather moved from Grenada to America and set up his own grocery store in Harlem.  My dad retired and decided to become an independent insurance investigator.

I am happily surrounded by teachers.  My mom went for her Masters when I went to college, and only recently retired from 25 years as a tenured teacher.  Two cousins are award-winning teachers, of science and multicultural arts and education.

I went on to complement this legacy with a degree in psychology from Vassar College, a decade of success in New York corporate and non-profit offices, and many years as a creative, home-based entrepreneur and consultant.

To keep balance in my life I enjoy reading books (print, audio, kindle …), dancing to multicultural music, adventure travel, time with friends and family, camping and scuba with my daughter.
